RIFLE MATCH.
NO. 2 H.R.Y. v. T.R.R. Tins, tlic second annual. inatcli, was fired at the Parawai Putts yesterday. Last year the T.R.R. proved the victors by 71 points, but this time the tables were turned, and No. 2 11.R.Y. proved victorious, with 15 points to spare. The weather was all that could be desired at the 400 and 500 yards ranges, but at the (’>oo yards a nasty gusty wind got tip, and consequently the scores at this range were not as large in proportion as at the other ranges. We are very pleased to see that two of our representatives, Fenton and Hoskins have made the excellent scores of 48 and 4(1 respectively, and this with one miss each at 000 yards. We have been kindly furnished by one of the markers, Captain Newby, with the following list of scores made : • ' No. 2 H.K.V.
