Before IV. Fraser, Esq., AVnnlni. William Thomas and Others y. Bright Smile G.M.Co. (Ri:uisTEßEl>.)— 'This case which has been frequently before the Court, and adjourned pending proceedings in the Supreme Court was again called on. The action it will be remembered is brought by the Queen of Beauty claim on the Wain Karaka Creek against the defendants for encroachment.— Mr Sheehan said he had to appear for the complainant in this case, and bad to ask for an adjournment. The question upon which recourse had been had to the Supreme Court in this matter was still unsettled, and the prospect of a speedy settlement which had been entertained had disappeared. In the present state of the case at least a month must elapse before any settlement could be effected. He would therefore ask for a postponement of the case for a month.— The application was granted and the case adjourned until the 20th March. The Court then adjourned until next morning, when there are several cases set down for hearing.
