THEATRE ROYAL.
TII E Z a VIS T 0 W SKIS. IxtoN was again produced last night at this place of amusement, to a fashionable and very numerous audience, every part of the house being full. We noticed last night that a large number of ladies patronized the burlesque, and seemed to enjoy it thoroughly. We can say nothing further than we did yesterday respecting the performance and the performers; they were excellent. Emeline, as Ixion, was, we may say, perfect in every detail of her part, and consequently played it naturally and well. Miss Alice was charming as usual, and sang “ her own ” song in such a manner as to elicit an undeniable encore, to which she responded with “ The Pretty Little Curly-headed Girl.” South was good indeed, and he seems to have been made for Minerva, —he is really funny. To-night Ixion will be produced for the last time, and wc recommend all who have not seen the Zavistowskis in it, to go as it is worth seeing. Mr .Tones announces Kenilworth as the next, and we are anxious to see this troupe in it, having already seen it played by a /cry good com pany down here before. It ought to be good, and we feel confident that it will be so.
