VOLUNTEER PARADES.

The Rifle Balalion, comprising the Engineer Corps, No. 1 Royals, No. 2 11.R.\ and the Thames ltille Rangers, fell in at the Yoluntcer Hall, last evening, for drill. There was a very pour muster of some of the companies, a matter which is to be regretted. AVe hope to see better attended parades in future, and hope our volunteers will remember Colonel llarington's advice. The T.R.R. Cadet Corps mustered strongly, at the Thames School, and also the Engineer Corps of Cadets, at the Yoluntcer Hall, and both appear to be progressing well. The Scottish Company had a very fair number ou parade at the drill shed, Grahamstown, and made an excellent appearance.
