At a special meeting of the above board, at which were present —Messrs Burgess (in the chair), Mills and Scott. The Secretary was ordered to provide for 150 dog collars for the ensuing year. The bye-laws under the Municipal Police Act, 18tj(i, Amendment Act, 1171, were brought up, and passed with amendments. The Collector was instructed to sue a further number of ratepayers unless the outsianding rates come in more speedily ; and the Board adjourned.
