Water is reported in the mines in large quantities, and what coal is now being obtained comes out of the old workings. From 70 to SO tons per day arc being obtained. The whaling ship Napoleon had left for New Bedford. U.S., a full ship. Another whaler, going into the Bay, was passed by the Wild Buck, on Batimhiv.
