The police lit vc been despatched to the scene of action, to ascertain, if possible, if it is the work of an incendiary, and, in that case, to take steps for the discovery of the offender. Inspector Broham came across Cyrus Haley, formerly a newsroom-keeper, and arrested him on suspicion. Ilalcy was carrying a revolver at the time. There arc other charges against him.-
