AUCKLAND REGATTA.

On Saturday, the Thames boats with their crews went up to Auckland, per Golden Crown. There were two four-oared gigs, one boat for the Champion Sculler’s Match, and one dingy. . 'The Nonpareil, belonging to the N.8.8.C. is entered for the Amateur Gig Race, and alsb for 'the All Comers’ Race, and from the crews who are to pull, she stands a first rate chance of winning both these races. The other gig is the Brothers,- built and pulled by the four Robinsons. We see that only three men have entered for the Champion Sculler’s Race, and, as three men have gone from the Thames, we presume that Auckland is unrepresented. This is a curious state of. affairs, when a seapoit town like Auckland cannot find one man to represent them. Our correspondents letter gives the number of entries for the different events, and some good races ought to take place. (FROM OUR t>\VN CORRESPONDENT.)
