THE TELEGRAPH.

LATEST PARTICULARS. We learned last night from an authentic source the following particulars regarding the erection of the line between here and Tauranga. It seems that Wi Kotero wrote to Paora Told tolling him that if tlic natives went on with the work they would be killed, and he and his party did actually burn down the posts erected by Mackny and Floyd at Parakiwai. Thirteen Ngatiamaniapoto natives are now still at work, and there are ? number of unfriendly Maoris at Wangamata, who declare that the line shall not go past them; but in spite of all this there is no likelihood of the work coming to a stand-still.
