THAMES NAVAL BRIGADE BOATING CLUB.

A meet ng of fhe Chdi was held at the Junction Hotel on Saturday evening, when about twenty gentlemen w-cre proposed and ballottcd for. Air H. Dalton was elected Captain for the present year, and was instructed to practice the following members this afternoon, viz. : Hy. GoldswoHhy, W. 11. Trevartlicii, TV. Hair, J. Gordon, \V. Dunn, G. Brown, and B. Ncwdick, and select a crew of four to compete with tlic Club race at the Auckland Regatta. Mr A. Bruce was chosen as Coxswain. A unanimous vote of thanks was accorded to the Thames Rowing Cluo for the kind manner in which they placed their boats at the disposal of the Naval Boat' ig Club at the last regatta.
