SUPREME COURT.—T uesda y.

CRIMINAL JURISDICTION. (Before Sir George Alfred Arncy, Chief Justice.) The Supreme Court was occupied all Tuesday with the perjury case, the facts of which were stated in our issue of yesterday. The evidence for the Crown closed soon after eleven o’clock, when the defence was entered on, and did not close until six o’clock, after which rebutting evidence for tbe prosecution was called on until tbe Court adjourned at 7 o’clock. The greater part of Wednesday will be occupied before the charge will be put to the jury.
