Mr .1. Newman reports :—The shnremarket remains very dull. There was a little excitement in Tookey, but it soon subsided when it became known that the reported show of gold in the low level was noc seen this morning. Other stocks remain unaltered. My sales comprise—Caledonian, L 52 to LSO. Thames. LB! ]os. Alburnia. 80s. calls paid. Buyers of All Nations. Pride of Tokatea, and Alburnia. Hellers of A'ale of Avoca and AA'orking Miners, at low rates.

MELBOURNE.
