We have papers by Sydney to the 29th November. A hill lias been introduced into the Assembly to provide for payment of members. As small coin is rather scarce in Levuka a publican lias issued one and two shilling notes. Jn order to provide for their safe custody upon their arrival in Levuka. it is intended to build a strong wooden house for their reception, as well as for the custody of the eight Malic-010 men at present in the hands of the police. These latter were recently removed from the present station-house ami Indeed up in a building at (Ik- rear of the stores of the Messrs. Hennings, Tofoga, in order to provide room for the daily requirements of the place.
