The sharemarket yesterday was dull, and Caledonians closed L 57 10s; Thames, LI 5 10s ; Tookeys in no demand, and the same may be said of the above ; Nonpareils. L 4 os, buyers ; AP Nations, L 3 12s (id ; Moanataiaris, L 4 ; Golden Calf, L2 17s Gd ; Central taly, L2 15s ; Waitcmatas, 10s Gd ; Standard. 3s (id ; Windsor Castle, 10s; Pride of Tokatea, 4s (id : Red Queens, 7s Gd ; Rubvs, 3s Gd ; Moauataiari Union, 8s ; Thames View, 3s, and enquired after at lower rates. No enquiry for any other stock. Mr Jas. Craig sold by auction yesterday, at Partington's battery, 25 tons of tailings from the Coliban (late Providence G.M.C.) claim, at 30s. per ton. Messrs Brown and party, of Tararu, were the purchasers. There was a good att alance.
