THE ORATORIO.

To the Editor of the Thames Guardian. Dear Sir, —In reading your notice of last night’s Oratorio, I see you give credit to ever one but the tenor. Why he was not entitled to your good opinion, I know not ? I consider every one performed woll; and I can only say, that such a musical treat was never given before—in your critique you talk of the Province—l say, in the Colony of New Zealand. And our thanks are due to all who took part in the same.—l am, yours truly, James Graig, Junr. Grahamstown, 15th Dec., 1871. ♦
