THE OPERA.

TnE favourite opera “ La Sonnambula ” was performed last evening, at the Theatre Boyal, to, we regret to say, rather a poor audience, greatly owing, no doubt, to the attractions elsewhere. Signora Coy as Amina was very successful, and sang her parts with exquisite sweetness. This lady, apart from her vocal powers, is undoubtedly an excellent actress. Signor Dondi sustained tlie part of Bodolpbo with very great ability. He was in excellent voici?, and his rendering and conception of the character of Bodolpbo was extremely good. They were well supported by the rest of the company. The performance concluded with the last act from the opera of “Pipele.”
