WARDEN’S COURT— Yesterday.
Before W. Eraser, Esq., Warden. Michael Britt v. Henry Cooper and OTHERS. —In this case the complainant charged the defendants, as owners of the Watchman claim, with holding surplus ground. —Mr Macdonald said it had been arranged between Mr Tyler and himself, with the permission of the Court, to have the case adjourned until Thursday.—Case adjourned until Thursday accordingly. Windsor Castle G.M.Co. v. W. Littlejoun.—The plaint in this case set forth that the defendant bad encroached upon tlie jaemplainants’ claim known as the Berkley Castle (now the Windsor Castle), and is now encroaching. The complainants therefore pray the Warden to assess the amount of damage sustained, and that defendant be ordered to deliver up possession. Mr Macdonald said that there was negotiations going on between the parties in this case with a view to settlement, and he would ask for the case to be postponed until Thursday.—Case adjourned accordingly until Thursday.— The Court then rose.
