John Alwent Chapman ; 15 years’ lease of 10 acres of auriferous quartz land ; bounded on the north by the Celt c:aim other boundaries by unoccupied ground known as the Pluto claim ; application (R.B. 922), dated 27th June, 1871. Alexander Beveridge, of Grahamstown, Mining Agent; 15 years’ lease of 15 acres or thereabouts, bounded on the east by the Vulcan and Cyclops, and on all other sides b> unoccupied ground, Upper Tararu ; application (R.B. 955), dated sth September, 1871. COROMANDEL GOLDFIELD. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. Superintendent’s Office, Auckland, 29th November, 1871. IN pursuance of the 29th section of The Goldfields Act, 18GG,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shewn against granting such Leases. Copies of the applications made, and plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Coromandel. Thomas B. Gillies, Superintendent, Schedule Thomas Moore, James McGmrsEY, James Magorey, Robert Magorey, John Knox, and James Rolstown, applied for by Thomas Moore ; 15 years lease of 1G acres quartz mining land on the ranges in Pitta’s land, about one mile east from Court-house, Coromandel ; not held under miner’s rights ; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromanal, at 11.45 a.m. on the 18th November. 1871. W. G. White, applied for by Arthur Pittar; 15 years’ lease of 1G acres, auriferous land, adjacent to Tookcy’s Battery, and fo the eastward, and northeastward, and south eastward of the same, and situated on the Coromandel Goldfield : not held under miners’ rights ; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 12.30 p.m., on the 18th November, 1871. Hugh McDonald, 15 years’ lease of 1G acres, quartz mining land on Peter’s Block, cast of Court-house, Coromandel, bounded on south by Moore’s lease, on other sides by unoccupied ground ; not held under miners’ rights ; application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 1.28 p.m., on the 20th November, 1871. Thomas Douglas, of Coromandel ; 15 years’ lease of 1G acres, bounded on the north by the lease applied for by Moore and party, and situated on the upper part of the Court-house Creek ; bounded on other sides by unoccupied ground, n«t held under miners’ rights : application received in Warden’s Office, Coromandel, at 11.50 a.in., 21st November, 1871. £TIIE undersigned, Arthur Pittar, •j hereby make application to register “The Key of tbc Tokatea Gold Mining Company. Registered,” under the provisions of “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” and “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 18G9 and 1870,” and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—1. That the name and style of the Company is The Key of the Tokatea Gold Gold Alining Company, Registered. 2. The place of operations is at the Tokatea Range, Coromandel Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand. 3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twelve thousand six hundred pounds, in Six thousand three hundred shares of Two pounds each. 4. The amount already paid up in cash is Nil, and Six thousand three hundred pounds in partly paid-up shares. 5. The name of the Manager is Arthur Pittar. G. The office of the Company is at The Beach road, Coromandel. 7. The names and several residences of ARTHUR PITTAR, Manager. Declared in my presence, Thomas Scott, A Justice of the Peace.
