The leading stocks during the week have been Inverness, which seem likely to advance—Nonpareils. Moanataiaris, Otagos, and Tookeys. in all of which a considerable amount of business lias been done. Mr J. Craig sold on Saturday 15.000 feet white pine at 4s 3d to 7s Od per 100 feet. There was a good attendance, and tnc biddiner was spirited. Mr Craig sold also a ten years’ lease of two houses in Coromandelstreet. Grahamstown, with buildings thereon, and tailing plant complete, for' £2-50. Mr Unthank was the purchaser.
