Thames Guardian Office, Thursday evening, November 23. TILE SHAREMARKET. The sharemarkct yesterday was rather lively, although Caledonians and Thames were* stationery. A few changed hands at £9O and £9l. . Tookeys about £42 1 Os. Nonpareils wcre'iri demand at £4, and a good few transactions took place. Moanataiaris sold freely at £3 12s Cd and £4 ; Centrals.’ £2 10s, buyers ; Otago?, £3 13s; Golden Calf, £3 los; Inverness, 28s to 30s. There was a good enquiry for Shooting Star shares, (now called Star of the Thames) at 12s Gel ; .Bright Smiles, £2 2s (Id; Smiling Beauty,. 4s ; Kuby. Is Gd. AUCKLAND SHAKEMAEKET. New Zealand Shares in Australia.— The Sydney Morning Herald, of November 11 savs :—“ No transactions are reported in Bank of Nc-w Zealand since receipt of news that a dividend and bonus equal to 15 per cent, per annum had been declared for the past half-year. Tookey shares are quoted at advanced rates in consequence of the news received per 1 City of Adelaide sales were made on the 10th at £3O. New Zealand Treasury bills, £102." Mr J. Newman reports: —"The sharemarket commenced with a steady demand for Caledonians, and maintained the same price all day. Tookey are lower, buyers at' £3B to £4O.
