PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.
A Provincial Gazette, published on Saturday, proclaims that the twenty-seventh session of the Provincial Council of Auckland will commence at 2 p.m. on Wednesday next, the 22nd November. It is notified that licenses for goldmining purposes will be granted to the following applicants, unless valid objections can be shown : The Multurn in Parvo, the Watchman, and the Queensland Goldmining Companies, all of Grahamstown ; the Saddle Lease, aud Siege of Paris Goldmining Companies, both of Coromandel. The writ for a member of the Provincial Council for Auckland City West has been returned, endorsed with the name of James Farmer. Mr. George Stevens has beer appointed poundkeeper at Morningside. It. S. Boyes, C. M. Masters, It. Pickinere, W. G. Puckey, jun., aud Thomas Scott, have been conconstituted as the Ahipara District Board. The nan es of the following persons have been appointed collectors for highway districts: W. Good, Ararimu South; W. Kirkwood, Pokeno ; A. G. Peace, Parua ; 11. J. Turner, Pukekura ; W. Coleman, Kirikiriroa; J. B. Williams, Russell.
