Thames Guakdiax Office, Monday evening. November 13. SHAREMARKET. The sharemarket yesterday was in a state of panic, and Caledonians fell from £IOO to £75, but were a little firmer towards the afternoon, when there were buyers at £BO ; towards the close of the evening there were sellers at £75, with anything but an upward tendency, although Auckland prices were quoted as £75 to £BO. Thames did not fall in proportion, the lowest offered being £2O, but very few, if any, sales at that price. Otagos were in demand at £3 15s, £3 17s 6(1, aud £4, and a good many changed hands at ihc latter prices. Eureka Hills also were
in pretty free demand. nlvl sales were effected at 2f>s to 27s Gd. Golden L'alfs sold in small parcels at £2 17s Gd. Central Italy, £2 10s; and Rubys at 4s. Queen of the May were inquired after, but held above prices offered. Windsor Castle sold at 7s Gd, and with the exception of a few other sales in outside stock, very little business was transacted.
