Sir, —In your impression of this morning I notice that a mistake has inadvertently crept into my letter relating to the above fund. Instead of the words, “ I would suggest some sort of compromise,” it should be “ I would suggest some sort of testimonial.” I freely acquit you of an intentional error, but put it down to the carelessness of your reader, as I believe my manuscript ns a rule is tolerably distinct. —I am, &c., An Apmirer of True Courage,
