POLICE COURT.— Yesterday.
Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.M. Drunkenness. Samuel McClutchen was fined 10s., with the alternative of 24 hours’ imprisonment in case of non-pay-ment.—Timothy Donovan pleaded guilty a like offence, and was fined 285., or 48 hours’ imprisonment. This individual was before the Co rt on the previous day on a like charge, “when ho was fined 10s. Vagrant Goats. Thomas Bourne, charged with allowing a goat to wander at large in Rolleston-strcct, was fined Is. and costs. —John Quinlivan, for a similar offence, was dealt with in like manner.
License Transfers. —John Dare made an application to transfer his license fo the Miners’ Rest Hotel, Ilape Road, to Thomas Dare. The application was granted.— James Spry applied to transfer his license for the Ilape Hotel, Ilape Road, to A. Casscrells. This application was also granted.
