POLICE COURT.— Yesterday.
Before W. Fraser, Esq., R.M. Drunkenness. William. Reynolds, James Jones, John McDene, and Pene Williams (a Maori), were dealt with in the usual manner for this offenco. The Late Fight At Tararu.— Hugh Connor and Simeon Combes were charged with committing a breach of the peace by fighting in a public place at Tararu on tbe 25th October. Both men pleaded guilty, and were ordered to be bound over to keep the peace for the- next six month's, themselves in £IOO each, with two sureties of £so.—The required sureties were—pro- ■ cured immediately after the rising of the of the Court. , Vagrant — Thomas Bourno, ■ William Quinlivan, and George Vickery were charged with allowing goats to wander at large in' Rolleston-street. The two first cases were adjourned to the 7th November instant, in consequence of the absence of the apprehending 'Constable. In other case the defendant’s wife appeared, and pleaded guilty to the charge. Fined one shilling and costs, nine shillings. - 1 ■
