UNDER instructions in that behalf from ' his Honor the Deputy-Superintendent, I hereby that I will, This Day, the Ist November, at the Court-house, Grahamstown, at 12 o’clock, noon, hold a Public Inquiry into the truth of any charges which shall then be, or which previously thereto shall have been made of Breach of Trust or Duty, Collusion with private parties, or other Misconduct, in connection with the Providence Claim, on the part of any Officer of the several Public Offices on the Thames Goldfields, over which his Honor the Superintendent has control. At the request of the Inspector of Miners’ Rights, his office will be included'in the inquiry. . . Persons making charges or complaints must make them either in writing, addressed to me,-at this office, or personally, before me, at the time and place above mentioned.
