Thames Guardian Office, Tuesday, October 24. Business was very flat all day, but slightly brisker in the evening. No business doing in Caledonians, buyers being very scarce ; we may quote them at £lls. The following are sale quotations Thames, £24 ; Nonpareils. £5 12s 6d; All Nations, £5 10s ; Bright Smiles, £3 2s 6d; Biid-in-Hand, 7s 6d ; Smiling Beauty, 7s ; Standard, 3s, in fair demand during the day, closing buyers plentiful at 3s Gd ; Golden Spur. 4s (id ; Ruby, 5s 6d : Little Angel, 10s ; Claremont, 9s, buyers ; Otagos, £3 2s 6d,
Auckland. Mr. J. Tonson Garlick reports sales this day: Caledonian, £ll2 10s and £ll3 10s; Shotovcr No. 1,14 s 6d; Albion, £6 10s; Golden Calf, 60s? Multum-in-Parvo, 13s; Albumia, bnyers, £6; Thames, sellers, £23. Mr; J. ’'■Newman's Report.—The sharemarket was more inactive than usual this morning in general stocks ; very few sales in Caledonian.
