Up to the present time eleven want to bring in a verdict to the effect that there was no evidence to show how the poison was administered, and one wished to bring in a verdict of felo-de-se. The Diocesan Synod commenced its sittings to-day. Bishop Cowie delivered a lengthy opening address.
