Thames .Guardian Office, ■ Wednesday, October 18. THAMES -SIIAREMARKET. Business was not very brisk during the day. There was a demand for Shotovers, and they advanced in price to lGs, with few sellers.' Leading stocks were ,in better demand, and the market closed with a much firmer tendency. The following arc the prices realised yesterday:—Caledonians, 41105, £lO7 10s; Thames, £2l, £2l 10s ; Ceutral Ifalys, £2 7s Gd, £2 10s ; Nonpareils, £5 12sGd, £5 15s; Golden Galfs, £2. J7s Gd, £.'l; Bright Smiles, £3 2s Gd buyers, £3 5s sellers ; Tookev,' £2B; Standards, 3s, in good demand, few sellers ; Alburnias, £G 2s Gd, in good demand ; Shotover, 15s, lGs, 17s, in good demand, few sellers in this market; Waitemata, £1 ; Otagos, £3 ss; Golden Spur, buycis at 4s; Sons oE Freedom, in demand at £5, fewoffering ; 180 scrip in the St. Lawrence G.M.O. was sold by auction by Mr. Craig at 3s, subject to a call of Is, and 3,110 scrip w'ere sold for £5, the calls on them amounting to £145.
