Freight at Current Rates, and Consignees’ Property landed upon Shortland Wharf, avoiding damage from weather and rough treatment incurred by landing upon the beach. Shippers of Horses and Cows, &c., can walk their cattle from the steamers on to Shortland Wharf, thus avoiding the great risk of slinging.
