Thames Guardian Office, Tuesday, October 17. THAMES SIIAREMARKET. The market was very dull to-day, buyers being disinclined to speculate. A little business was done in a few of tlie outside stocks, but the leading ones were very quiet. Sales were effected at the following rates ; Caledonians, £lO5 ; Thames, £22 ; Nonpareils, £sl2s6d; Alburnias, £6 ; Standards, ils ; Bird-iu-Hand, 7s Gd ; Waitemata, £1 ; Otagos, £3 ss, Sons of Freedom, £5 : Bright Smiles, £3 os to £3 7s 6d.
