THE ORATORIO OF “THE MESSIAH.” THE Ladies and Gentlemen who kindly Performed at the late Concert for the English Church Building Fund are respectfully requested to MEET on Wednesday Evening next, for the first practice of the Oratorio of -the Messiah. Thro>’gh'the courtesy of the Presbyterian Church Committee, the place of Meeting will be at the Presbyterian Church, Karaka Bridge, Pollen-street. The practice will commence punctually at eight o’clock. ' l -* v Performers are requested to be in good time, and to brin£ copies of the Messiah with them. VICESIMUS LUSH. APPLICATIONS will be received at the Engineer’s Office, Grahamstown, from Householders and Proprietors who desire to have WATER LAID ON to their premises.
