BRIGHT SMILE GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED.

A special general meeting of the shareholders was held yesterday at the Governor Bowen Hotel, to consider points affecting the interests of the Company. The action of the directors was confirmed giving 200 scrip to Mr Robert Graham for the right io mine, and to prevent others from mining under any portion of the flat including that under which the Queen of Beauty have been working for some time. The Directors wore authorised to take whatever steps they thought, fit for protecting the rights of the shareholders, and advancing .heir interests. It is to be hoped for the good of all parties concerned that no litigation will arise from any action that may take place, as such is sure to do harm to both sides, and probably may have the effect of delaying and keeping back the opening up of a tine gold bearing district.
