AMUSEMENTS.
Theatre Royal. —“ The Robber’s Wife” was performed here last evening before a fair bouse. Some of the situations in the piece were very touching, especially where Rose Redland cautions Mark as fo his future aption. Miss Bowring’s clever appreciation of her character was most enthusiastically Jeceived by the audience, as Lary O’Gig, as usual was quite Hibernian, and contributed much to the success of the piece. The other parts were well rendered. The two-act comedy of “Toodles” concluded the entertainment. Academy of Music.— “ Formosa” still keeps its place,' and retains the good opinions of the theatre-going public. It was reproduced before a very good house, and acted as carefully as ever, last evening. We are to. have. the We’l-known drama of the “ Lancashire Lass” at the latter part of this week, aud there is no reason to doubt with as great a success as Formosa has achieved.' u;
