THAMES SCOTTISH VOLUNTEERS.

This corps had its usual Wednesday parade, last evening, when there was a Jaigc muster. Rowe, “ Edward Thomas.” Lieutenant Roeertson proposed, and John Stewart seconded, a hearty voie of thanks to these gentlemen, and that they should be elected as honorary life membeis of the corps, which was agreed to with acclamation. The following were elected honorary members :• — Messrs Joseph Newtnao, Auckland ; W. 11. Skeei, and David Baity. Four working members were also balloited for and elected. It was announced that the cloth for the uniform would arrive in a few clays per s.s. ‘ Phoebe.’
