The Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Limited (per Mr J. Mnndell, auctioneer), report on the horse aud cattle market at Tattersall’s yards, on Saturday : —Our entry comprised 37 horses, 2 cows, implements, harness, etc. The demand for farm horses continues good, and satisfactory prices were obtained for all young useful sorts of fchis class submitted to auction. For hackneys and light-harness sorts the competition was weak aud prices low. Our quotations are : —Draughts, young, with trial, £ls 10s, £l6 10s, £lB, to £l9; do light and aged, £7 10s to £9 ; light harness sorts, £7 to £lO ; hackneys, £3 10s, £4, to £5; cows in profit, £4 10s to £5.
