GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.
Tho Geraldine Domain Board met ou Tuesday evening. Present—Messrs A. White (chairman), J. M. Sutherland, J. W. Pye, J. McOaskoy, Geo. Ward, and W. S. Maslin. TENNIS COURT. Messrs W. (Jloustou and Borroll waited on the board, asking permission for making a lawn tennis court at tho lower end of the small park for a now club about to bo formed.—On the motion of Mr J. M. .Sutherland, seconded by Mr J. McOaskey, permission asked for was granted. COI’.IIESrONDENCE. Mr T. Horlihy wrote offering £2 per annum for the pasturing of a piece of land adjoining tho bath in the domain, and offering to erect fences.—Resolved—- “ That tondo s bo called for tho right to cut grass in small p irk and part of largQ domain near bath.”
overseer's report. The overseer’s report was read as follows : “ I have received from Mr W. G. Sherratt 50 casks of Portland cement, all in good condition. The bath contract is getting on very well, and as they have finished the clay contract and got the perpendicular wall on the west side built they expect a draw of £lO. 1 have fixed up Mr Burrows’s gateway leading into the small park.—l have, etc., “R. Annan, Overseer.” LOAN. Resolved made to the Geraldine Town Board for a loan of £6O at a rate of interest not exceeding 6 per cent.” ACCOUNTS. Accounts amounting to £4113s 4d were passed for payment. The board then rose.
