FROZEN MEAT CONFERENCE.

Wellington, Sept. 7. The standing committee appointed by the Frozen Moat Conference have appointed Messrs W. C. Buchanan, C. Pharazyu, and W. Id. Millward as an executive committee to watch over the interests of the frozen meat industry and to communicate from time to time with the standing committee of both islands. It was resolved —“ That the freezing companies be communicated with on the subjects of grading of meat and cool storage, iu terms of Mr Begg’s motions.” “ That copies of Mr Rowe’s report on the possibilities of opening trade between Australia, India, and Japan be procured.”
