Tuno See from the woodland far and wide The garb of nature swiftly torn, And from the lofty mountain sido The leafy robea of beauty shorn. The mighty forests disappear Before the thrifty woodman's bladu ; Each scone so picturesque and dear Is ruffled by his ruthless raid. To counteract destruction's hand, Ea> h idle plot of land go seize— Again adorn the willing land With beautiful aud valued trees.
