For the past two months the fishermen of Oamaru have been abla to secure large hauls ol Bprats, often securing several boatloads in one haul. An aged lady recently complained to a that because she was a little bahind with her rent her landlady followed her to her church and asked her for it there. The landlady came into the pew alongside hor, and when she was joining in the responses was constantly whispering to her about the rent. When it came to the response " Incline our hearts" the landlady would add " To pay our rout." The magistrate said it was very annoying, but there was nothing llegal in it.
