CRIMINAL CALENDAR. The following is the list of criminal cases to be tried at the Supreme Court this week, commencing to-day at 11 a.ra. (17 charges against 10 persons) : Henry Knight, breaking and entering (Waimate), three charges, A. W. Gaze, forgery (Teamka), one charge; also embezzlement, two charges. James Gould, alias Williams, theft of mare and cover (Timara) ; also theft of saddle and bridle.

James Henry Webb Robinson, sheepstealing on Rangitata Plain (Temuka). Martin Carrig, sheep-stealing (Geraldine), two charges ; also theft of a fleece. Frederick Schhier, murder (Timaru). i Jeremiah McCarthy, murder (WaiMhate), There are over sixty persons bound to appear as witnesses in the several cases.
