January 4—Janet Nicoll, s.s., 770 tons, Robertson, for Wellington. January s—Omapere., s.s,, 352 tons, Fleming, for the north. In the Omapere, N.M. & A. Co. agents: 60 tons gener.il merchandise. Among the consignees wore—Warburtou, Reid & Gray, C.F.C.A., H. Lee, Mason, Guinness & LeCren, Pearson, Hardy, D. Taylor, Priest & Holdgate, Brown, Blyth, Bin ley, and Harrison. Port Chalmers, January 6.—Sailed : Doric, for London via Wellington, with 2000 bales of wool, 200 tons of cheese, and a quantity of sundries. Arrived ; Hauroto and Te Anau, from Lyttelton ; Duke of Westminster, from London, with 3000 tons of cargo for Dunedin, after a good passage of 47 days. Wellington, Jan. 4.—The Hauroto, from Sydney, brought 100 passengers, the majority for Wellington. Sydney, Jan. 6.—Sailed: Tarawera, for Wellington, yesterday. Arrived: Talune, from Auckland.
