ARRIVAL OF THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.

Williams, wife and child, Norman Brook, Chief Justice Ide (of Samoa) and two daughters, Dr Hoakin, R.N., Mate Kaiuer, Mrs A. Friugs, Percy A. Hadley, and 11 in the steerage. GENERAL SUMMARY. It is accepted as certain in London that he will never return to public life, and that the political career that promised so brilliantly only a few years ago is thus at an end.
