ASHBURTON MARKETS. There was an entry of about 4000 sheep at the Ashburton Yardson Tuesday. The attendance Was small, and the following prices were realised : —Fat crossbred ewes, from 7s to 9s 3d ; fat merino ewes, from 4s lOd to 6a 6d ; fat crossbred four-tooths, from 9s 3d to 12s 4d; store merino ewes, with fair percentage of lambs, 7s to 7s 6d in the wool; shorn do, all counted, 4s lid; shorn crossbreds, all counted, 5s 6d to 6s 9d ; hoggets, 7s 9d, 8a 6d, 8s 9d to 10s.
