Justice Williams has stayed proceedings against the old directors of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company on the grounds that the new company would be commercially injured, justice Williams in giving his decision in the Loan and Mercantile case said that it would be proved in the long run whether it was preferable to suppress the truth and prevent further disclosures. Right never did harm even in commercial affairs. He hoped that the decision would not injure anybody.
