It is reported that the Province of Pechili has risen in rebellion against the present dynasty. Foochow river is closed to shipping. It is estimated that the occupation of Corea coßts the Japanese £ 60,000 daily; Oct. 10.

Five thousand Russians have been posted on the Coreau frontier facing the Japanese.
