The following is the New Zealand team tp play against New South Wales on Saturday :—Full back, D’Arcy (Wairarapa); three quarters. Rayley and Good (Taranaki), and Balcn (Canterbury); halves, Cook (Canterbury), and Rutland (West Coast); forwards, Mackenzie (Wellington) and Bayly (Taranaki), wings; Swindley (Wellington), Lambie and Hughes (Taranaki), Watson (Waiarapa), Cockroft (Hawkea Bay), Humphreys (Canterbury), and Stewart (South Canterbury); emergency forward, Maber (Wellington), Delay in choosing the team waa occasioned by the inability of several who would have been chosen to get away. Mackenzie, of Auckland, was one of these.

Ou Tuesday lasi the New South Wales footballers were the guests of Mr M. Jonas, President of the South Canterbury Rugby Union. They were driven, in two drags to Winchester, where they put up at the Wolesley Hotel, where they were entertained by Host and Langdou, after which they returned to Timaru, and before leaving for Christchurch by the express train, presented Mr Jonas with.a wold pencil case as a memento of their visit and in recognition of the groat kindness he had shown them. The day was delightfully fine and the team expressed themselves as having thoroughly enjoyed their outing.
