On Saturday night a man named Frank Debowers, . a seaman on the steamer GleUelg, if ell overboard, and was drowned at Qnehunga. A fire occurred last - Sunday night at Newton, in a draper’s shop occupied by Mrs laaacßenuett. ■ The fire was confined to the ground flour of the shop, but the stock was totally destroyed.
