At the meeting of the National Hide Association on July 13th, with MartiniHenry Hides, the Ladies’ prize, seven shots at 700 yards, was won by Mitchell with a score of 35—the “ possible.” Queen Victoria, the Czarcwitch, Princess Alexis of Hesse, and Prince and Princess Henry of Battcuberg visited Aldershot camp on July 11th, and witnessed the grand military torchlight tattoo at 10 pan.
