A DESPERATE BOY ASSASSIN.

Boucfaareicbat, a 17-year-old murderer, has been condemned to death at the Tulel Assizes. This boy perpetrated his terrible crime with all the atrocity and determination of a professional assassin fully arrived at the age of manhood. He was in the employment of a tradesman at Limoges, to whom he brought one morning in September last a telegram which had arrived overnight. The tradesman sat up in bed in order to peruse the despatch, and while he was engaged in so doing the boy fired at his employer from behind and wounded him under the left oar. The man then got out of bed and tried to grapple with the murderer, who fired point blank at his master, and hit him between the eyes with a bullet. The youth followed up this with a powerful blow from a knuckle duster, and the tradesmen fell to the ground insensible, the bridge of his nose broken, and blood flowing abundantly from his face and head. He was strangled while lying on the ground, and Bouchareichat, when the the deed was accomplished, rifled his master’s room, took about £52, a gold watch, and some objects of jewellery, and then went off in order to have the usual murderer’s spree. This, however, did not last long, for the lad was soon arrested. He has been practically condemned to death twice, for he was first tried by the assizes of the Haut Vienue, but the proceedings were quashed owing to informality by tho Court of Cassation, and the murderer then appeared before a Corrieze jury.
